Innovation Despite Constraints

Are you interested in building a sustained culture of classroom innovation at your school? Do you see an opportunity to use creativity and design thinking to increase teacher agency within your existing professional development plan? Let’s schedule a time to talk about my experience working with the education community and my approach to professional growth and student-centered design.

Teacher Creativity

Teacher creativity empowers educators to acknowledge the limitations inherent in classroom settings while proactively seeking and crafting inventive solutions to pedagogical challenges.

Matthew Worwood

I’m a learning experience designer and curriculum development specialist committed to classroom innovation through Design Thinking, Creativity, and Digital Technology.

I also consider myself a modern academic and education practitioner specializing in Design Thinking and the process of Co-Creativity using Generative AI tools and Digital Media. I co-host the Fueling Creativity in Education podcast and share ideas on this website about education, professional learning, and my approach to teacher creativity.

I have almost two decades of experience developing new innovative programs, and consulting with schools and coaching educators on creativity and using new technological tools in the classroom.

I offer education services to support program design, professional development, and creative technology integration. I also speak on creativity in education and, more recently, generative AI for creative minds.
